Ardgrove - Le Manoir

GENERAL ETHOS

  1. Membership of Ardgrove Investments DAC – membership must include the member signing the Ardgrove Agreement.

  2. Handover / Takeover – this process is greatly helped if the arriving / departing members contact each other in advance, covering such items as ongoing maintenance/repairs, laundry, cleaning arrangements made, heating/water status. It is traditional to leave a ‘Welcome Pack’(see SOP - Pre-Departure Check List).

  3. Breakages / Tech Repairs – it is the occupier’s responsibility to replace/repair any breakages occurring on their watch and to make every effort to arrange for any technical repairs necessary e.g. electrical, plumbing etc. (see Contact List) and if possible, paying directly for same and reclaiming back from the Treasurer.

  4. Purchases / Refurbishments – members may be requested, from time to time by the ‘upkeep committee’ or Directors to arrange for the purchase, delivery or collection of new/replacement equipment or furniture, while in occupation.

  5. Tech Log / Diary – all necessary tech details must be entered in the Tech Log. Oher non-tech details, e.g. helpful social/tourist info, restaurant comments etc. may be entered in the diary.

  6. Sale of Ownership / Membership – it is a requirement of membership of the Company to advise the Board (through one of the Directors) of a decision to sell one’s membership.  This is because the only register of Members is held by the Company Secretary – membership is certified by holding the Share Certificate.  Without taking this step, there can be no assurance that the change of membership (and therefore the use of the apartment), will transfer to a new owner / member.
